"As the New Client Facilitator, I try to accomplish several objectives during
the first appointment. First, I listen to each person tell me what's most
important to them from a dental standpoint including their previous dental
experiences. Then I summarize that information for Dr. Lawler so that our
new clients know they have been heard and their concerns understood. I proceed
to document during the exam, and bring the appointment to a close by making
sure each person received all the information they need about their dental
health."
