Beginnings in dentistry
With origins in Ohio, Dr. Walker received his bachelor’s degree from Miami University of Ohio before graduating from the Ohio State College of Dentistry in 2012. The next ten years of his career were spent continuing his education, including becoming a Kois Graduate highly trained in dental implants. His ventures into oral surgery, sedation, and implants led to a passion for reducing soft tissue disease and inflammation in the mouth.
Vision for wellness
Dental Wellness is Dr. Walker’s second dental practice, and one that will shift focus to more holistic treatment for his patients. With more than a decade of experience, he’s witnessed the life-changing impacts of restored smiles, prevention of disease, and empathetic, trusting relationships.
Outside the office
Dentistry is both his work and passion, and Dr. Walker spends time each year furthering his education with advanced training. When he’s not focused on dentistry, Dr. Walker thoroughly enjoys life with his wife of sixteen years, Christin, and their three children. They love living in Charleston, spending lots of time outdoors, and cheering on their favorite sports teams (Go Bucks!).

Hygienist
I graduated from the University of New England and stayed in Maine after graduation. I grew up in New England with my three sisters, which taught me the value of strong relationships and teamwork. As a dental hygienist, I enjoy getting to know my patients and helping them feel comfortable and confident in their smiles. When I’m not at the office, you can usually find me at the beach, skiing, reading, or trying out a new restaurant with friends.
Chloe
Dental Assistant
Chloe Neicen is a Dental Assistant with four years of experience serving patients in the Charleston area. She has specialized training in implant procedures, including coordinating surgeries and fabricating surgical guides using Dental Wellness’ in-office dental lab and 3D printing technology. Chloe loves getting to know her patients and takes pride in helping them feel comfortable, informed, and cared for throughout their visit. She values building genuine relationships and believes a positive dental experience starts with trust and communication. Outside of the office, Chloe is actively involved in her local church and enjoys singing, reading, and spending time at Folly Beach.

Esthetician
Abby Nelson is a licensed esthetician and Trident Technical College graduate who is currently continuing her education in nursing. With three years in the aesthetics industry, she is passionate about helping clients feel confident, relaxed, and radiant in their skin. Originally from Wisconsin, Abby loves spending her time with her family – her husband Devon, their dog Benji, and her two reptiles, Queen and Lily.

I grew up right here on James Island and feel grateful to still call it home. I attended both the University of South Carolina and the College of Charleston, experiences that helped shape my people-first approach. Outside of work, I love spending time on the boat, getting lost in a good book, and going on long walks with my dog, Mae. I believe wellness is about balance and enjoying the every day moments.
